Jon Rosen, PsyD

Dr. Jon Rosen is a New York State licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist. He works with children, adolescents and adults to overcome challenges related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, phobias, life transitions and other related issues. Dr. Rosen believes in taking evidence based approaches to treatment and specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. He treats his clients with warmth, trust, support, and empathy.

Dr. Rosen is an experienced school psychologist and an expert in social-emotional issues and learning issues that are impacting school performance. He utilizes his experience in the schools to work with clients and parents to identify barriers to learning and help kids reach their full potential in school. When working with kids, he also teaches the parents the skills that are being worked on in therapy. Just as when he worked in the schools, he is passionate about helping parents advocate for their child’s needs and is an expert in navigating the special education system. He understands the pressures of school and helps families to identify barriers to education and come up with a plan for success.

Dr. Rosen currently serves as President of the School Division of the New York State Psychological Association. He earned his Master of Science in school psychology from St. John’s University in 2014 and his Doctor of Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2018. Dr. Rosen completed internships in prestigious schools in New York City and Long Island. Dr. Rosen is a guest lecturer at universities in the tri-state area and works with students attending public, parochial, and independent schools in Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Long Island, and Westchester.
