School and Learning Difficulties

Difficulty in school may manifest in many different ways. If your child is struggling with any of the following symptoms they may benefit from a school neuropsychological evaluation: difficulty with reading, writing, or math, struggles to pay attention, initiate work, or remain seated, trouble making and maintaining friendships, behavioral problems.

School Neuropsychological Evaluations

When considering a child’s functioning in school it is vitally important to view the whole child. This means conducting a detailed background history and identifying the student’s strengths in addition to weaknesses. A school neuropsychological evaluation can help to better understand how a child’s mind works, and can help to pinpoint difficulties in order to inform interventions. At Rosen Psychology you will be supported through the entire evaluation process from testing through intervention.
